Walking through the grocery store is often a very unnerving experience.
“Stop! Don’t touch that! I’m not telling you again!” Exclaim the many mothers zooming through the aisles.
“Watch where you’re going!” Another man cries out, angrily pushing his cart away from the scene.
There is always something to behold when one dares to be out and about in this world. Yet through all of the craziness there is one thing that everyone has in common: the desire to be seen.
I don’t think that anyone would disagree with me when I say that our world is rife with distractions. Most of us are just trying to get by, and in the process our individuality can dissipate like the morning fog.
It should come as no surprise, then, that when we cry out, get disrespected, or maybe we just get unlucky, we feel like we must make our voices heard. We feel like we must make sure that our existence is validated by everyone around us.
Lamentably, I must tell you that this world will always have you feeling unseen and unheard. If feeling seen is what you seek, there is one place where that is possible.
It is where peace rests. It is where all love beckons. It is where where creation emerged out of nothing and turns into the infinite. There, in the place of love unimaginable, that is where you must go. The living water is good, but the source is inconceivably better in the most profound and purest of ways. Go to the headwaters, and there you will find rest.
Yeah man! Love this!
